Doors

All our hardwood timber doors and frames are manufactured using long established traditional jointing methods. Our storm proof doors use a mitred and dovetailed corner joint method which eliminates any exposed end grain. Double weather seal gaskets ensure no timber-to-timber contact to avoid sticking and binding doors.

Our smooth, flat profile rebates allow easier cleaning with no channels to harbour debris. Door furniture and security is based around the latest security using espagnolette locking systems but retains a very traditional look.

Our doors beautifully complement our windows in both aesthetics and specification. We can provide fanlights, arched tops to door sets and side panels.

Various designs are possible with our stable doors.

High security locking is incorporated in the two sections which secure together the top and bottom.

The double glazed glass panels can be obscure or clear.

French doors can open outwards (usual) or inwards. They can also be made into combination sets where side panels appear on one or both sides.

French doors often figure in conservatory or orangery layouts.

The espagnolette locking system provides high security like our other entrance door systems.

Bi-Fold Doors

With bi-fold doors, one door usually acts as a master door and the door leaves can fold or concertina up to the inside or the outside, and go to the left or right. Various configurations are possible.

For example, you can have six leaves all going to one side or you may split this layout as say, two bi-fold sets of 3 leaves going to left and to right.

Overall the effect is opening the garden into the house and vice versa and provides a modern, crisp and practical living area.

Bi-fold door sets easily install into conservatories, orangeries, new room extensions or into existing house wall layouts.
